Why? Why? Why?
Lately, the Angels have been busy “training” me: to stop trying to figure out WHY … and to stop thinking I need to know WHY … about anything.
Half the time, I feel like a little kid whining: But I really, really want to know.
Apparently, this pattern runs deep in me. Sigh.
Less Why, More Trust
Rather than asking why all the time, about all the things, the Angels are asking me (and you, too) to practice more Trust in the Divine.
A big part of that is letting go of the mental patterns of trying to figure things out … either before we do them or after they “happen to us.”
Instead, the Angels are inviting us to “live from” Divine guidance, more and more. That means, MANY times each day, we:
Pause.
Tune into our Divine guidance.
Follow that guidance.
AND … when we follow our Divine guidance without knowing why it said to go left instead of going right, that is Trusting the Divine.
We May Never Know Why
The Angels say it’s important that we get used to Trusting the Divine in this way because, often, we’ll never know why our Divine guidance said to do — or not do — a particular thing.
For example, let’s say your Divine guidance told you to “turn left now,” instead of taking your usual route to work.
Later, you might hear about road construction that was slowing down traffic on your usual route, or you might learn that a bridge was washed out. Then, you can at least guess why your guidance said to take a different route.
Certainly, there’s nothing “wrong” with the discovering the why behind your guidance.
But, most of the time, we’ll never learn why. That’s why 😉 the Angels are asking us to let go of our “need” to know.
The Angels want to share one of the primary reasons we’ll never learn why, and it makes so much sense:
Often, because we followed our guidance, we avoided a potential problem entirely.
For instance, if you’d stayed on your usual route to work, you might have ended up getting into a car accident because you would have gone through an intersection at exactly the “wrong” time.
So, if you followed your guidance, you did NOT get in an accident, and there won’t be any “proof” to reassure you that you did the right thing. In other words: You cannot know why your guidance said to take an alternate route because you avoided the accident entirely.
The Angels want us to know: This is what happens MOST of the time. MOST of the time, we’ll never learn why we received specific Divine guidance.
Ease, Grace and Flow
Therefore, the practice now is learning to follow our Divine guidance without asking why — and without looking for “proof” that we did the “right” thing.
The Angels say: The more we simply tune in to our Divine guidance and then follow it, the more we’ll experience ease … grace … and flow.
We’ll effort less and accomplish more. We’ll be in the right place at the right time. Doors will open as we approach them. Questions will get answered before we ask.
Life will feel magical and miraculous.
Blocking the Flow
OR … we can continue needing to know why. Unfortunately, that “need to know” blocks the flow.
Then, we get caught up in mental gymnastics. Or justifications and rationalizations. And we end up second-guessing ourselves and our guidance.
In short: We create a lot of unnecessary turbulence for ourselves when we insist on knowing why.
Let’s Dissolve That
So, if you’re ready to give up that need-to-know-why program (I certainly am!), then the Angels are ready to dissolve it for us now, so we can experience more Trust, more ease, more grace and more flow.
Thank you, Angels, for dissolving our need to know “why.” Thank you for helping us relax into Trust in the Divine. Thank you for reminding us to tune into our Divine guidance. And thank you for filling our lives with more and more “Angel magic”!
