Coveting Others’ Gifts

Do you ever wish you could do things you’ve seen other lightworkers do, like heal someone with their touch, or speak light languages, or access the Akashic records, or communicate with “dead people”?

As I was receiving some of Diego Berman’s beautiful light-language activations the other day, I was wistfully wondering why I can’t speak light languages.

That’s when the Angels shared this really helpful message with me:

You were meant to communicate things in a way that’s very easy for people to understand.

I immediately felt the Truth of that in my system.

A Divinely Guided Journey

I’ve been on a Divinely guided journey, in this lifetime, of learning how to share complicated information in a way that anyone can understand.

A big part of that adventure has been writing scores of how-to articles for automotive magazines, like how to rebuild your first engine. I’ve realized over the years that I can take complicated engineering material and make it easy for people to do themselves.

Likewise, I was a really good food-magazine editor because I could make sure recipes were easy to follow.

As I sat with this, the Angels gently pointed out: Communicating in a way that’s easy for people to understand is pretty much the opposite of speaking in light languages.

Oh. Right. 😆

A Unique Combination of Gifts

The Angels really want us to know: We came into this lifetime with a unique combination of gifts, talents and superpowers. And that combination was very purposefully chosen.

Some of these gifts are part of ALL of our lifetimes. They were chosen for us by the Divine, and they’re part of what makes us unique.

And … sometimes, on a soul level, we select a specific combination of gifts to bring into a particular lifetime based on what we want to accomplish in that lifetime.

Either way, the gifts we have are on purpose, and so are the gifts we “don’t have.”

As Needed

The Angels wanted me to put “don’t have” in quotes in that last sentence because we ALL have access to ALL the gifts, if and when we need them.

This is partly because we’re all One Being.

But it’s also because the Angels love and adore us. So, if we suddenly need something — like to be super-strong so we can lift a car off a trapped toddler — then we’ll have that gift in that moment.

However, the Angels say: If we knew we had access to ALL the gifts, all the time, we likely would get confused. We’d have too much choice.

We could spin around in circles for years, trying to figure out what to do with all those differing abilities.

Which means: Our unique combination of gifts, talents and superpowers helps to guide us. It helps to narrow our focus (at least a little).

Patterns Can Reveal Gifts, Too

If you’re not sure which gifts, talents and superpowers you have, the Angels are encouraging you to gently consider this lifetime. As you look back over your life, what sorts of patterns do you see? Those patterns can reveal your gifts.

For instance, as I look back over my life, clear communication has obviously been a big part of my career: as a magazine editor and writer, and as a spokesperson for the automotive aftermarket, as a coach, and now as a book author and podcast guest.
