Consistent Across All Lifetimes

While catching up with a dear friend yesterday, some beautiful new Angel wisdom poured through. My friend was talking about how she used to show up, a few years ago, when she had a very corporate job—and how different that is from how she’s showing up now (which she described as “crass” or even “redneck”).

The Angels kept showing me a pendulum swing. At one end of the arc was Corporate Woman. And at the other end was Redneck Woman. (I’m hearing Gretchen Wilson’s awesome song by that name now!)

The Angels said both versions of this woman are “authentic.” They’re simply different emphases: emphasizing different aspects of Who She Is.

We all do this. When I go to a car show and walk around appreciating the different cars and trucks on display, I’m being Car Enthusiast Sue. And when I go on a podcast and talk about Angels, I’m being Angel Coach Sue. They’re both authentic. They simply express different aspects of Who I Am.

Pendulum Swings

I’ve long been aware of these pendulum swings in our lives. For instance, after I got un-married, the first man I had a relationship with was, in many ways, the opposite of my ex. One could perceive this as being “reactionary” or “pushing against,” but that feels like I did something wrong or something “went wrong.”

Instead, the Angels say I was exploring different qualities and experiences. And that exploration brought lots of new clarity. It was delightful, and surprising (sometimes pleasantly, sometimes not so much). And the whole experience was incredibly valuable.

The Angels are nudging us to play with this pendulum idea, looking back over our lives for these clear contrasts: of how we showed up, or who we connected with, or different kinds of work environments. When we do this with curiosity (and no judgment), we can find all kinds of new insights and awarenesses.

The Center of the Arc

But wait, there’s more … and it’s really yummy!

Yesterday, while the Angels were showing me the pendulum arc of my dear friend’s experiences—with Corporate Woman at one end of the arc and Redneck Woman at the other—they also showed me a spot in the center of the arc.

At first, I assumed that spot would be somewhere/someone in between Corporate and Redneck. A sort of halfway point or middle ground.

But then the Angels shared something they’d never said through me before: They called this spot the part of this woman that is “consistent across all lifetimes.”

She and I LOVED this phrase!

I instantly felt that this is so much more than authenticity. It’s the essence of this beautiful being. It’s the Truth of her (with a capital-T).

It’s this woman, without any programming or conditioning, without any “trying to seem” or “trying to look,” without any shoulds or supposed to’s.

It’s consistent across all lifetimes because it’s a match to her soul, or her higher self.

The Invitation

THAT is who we’re all being invited to Be, more and more each day. Our True Selves. Our highest selves.

We’re being invited to show up, each day, as our unique Individuated Aspect of the Divine in physical form.

The Angels want to remind us: This is not a journey of fixing, or learning, or even becoming. It’s simply a letting go … a dissolving/surrender of subconscious programming and social conditioning.

It’s a “giving up” of all the hard work. It’s a “giving up” of all the mental gymnastics (“who does he/she want me to be?”). And it’s a “giving up” of all the struggling and striving and trying to contort ourselves into boxes.

In short: It’s a huge relief!
